Let’s start a conversation about books. I have three on my night stand _
“His Day Is Done”, the poetic tribute to Nelson Mandela by Maya Angelou; “Chasing Utopia” by Nikki Giovanni and “Little Green” by Walter Mosley. I’m drinking a cup of black tea as I start reading. I find the Mandela poem inspiring and uplifting. I’ll start reading the other books in a few days. I hope to read at least four books this month about the African American experience.
