Several Nashville media professionals were honored Sunday during the Nashville Association of Black Journalists (NABJ)'s first ever Headliners & Heroes Scholarship Reception.
Of those proceeds, $3,000 will be used to establish the Sandra Long Weaver Scholarship, which is named for one of the honorees who was among founders of the National Association of Black Journalists.
